ANTI TRAFFICKING CENTER
Submitted by danko_markovic on Tue, 2007-10-23 14:56The "Anti Trafficking Center" (ATC) is a citizens’ association with a mission of promoting universal human rights in Serbia and Montenegro and the region.
The ATC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which is trying to contribute, through its programs, to eradicating trafficking in human beings, with a special emphasis on the CAUSES of the problem of trafficking, such as gender-based violence, poverty, unemployment, and the lack of suitable opportunities.

Two 3 hour sesions in morning and afternoon. Number of students is about 20 people in one group.
GENDER - refers to socially constucted roles, behaviours, activities that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.
SEX - refers to the biological and physiological characteristics that define men from women.
Musculine and feminine are gender categories, while male and female are sex categories.
*Exercise:defining sex of two candidates,and separate them from gender caracteristics.
