“We recognize people as those who are equal in their existence.”

BASIC IDEA:

Discrimination, whether resulting from nationalism, sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, or other, results with oppression and negating human freedom world wide; thus we need a global network to rise against the issue.

PLAN:
I. Building Process:

    • Making a research and gathering information on existing organized groups/projects dealing with the issue
    • Starting a process of organizing with these groups
    • Organizing a communication structure
    • Making the network visible and reachable for both organized and yet unorganized groups
    • Develop a common analysis and strategy

II. Implementing Process

    • Fundraising
    • Organizing PR and press [ videos, websites, newsletters, articles, etc]
    • Organizing events [ seminars, working groups, public debates and discussions, etc]
    • Making campaigns to raise awareness and realizes specific steps of our strategies
    • Offering support to other branches and sharing resources [embracing solidarity]

LAUNCH OF THE PROGRAM:

o Organizing an event for initiation of the program [somewhere on The Balkans], on the topics of discrimination and organizing against it
o The program will contain workshops, public debates, discussions and tribunes; this way empowering the participants to use the means to reach the goals of the program [via organizing seminars, campaigns, public discussions, music, cultural and sport events, making video streams and podcasts, bloging, gathering members and so on]

GOALS:

    o Short-term goals:
Start building up the network by doing the initial projects/events together and find new partners in these programs

    o Long-term goals:
Make the network self-sustainable, realize projects, have support between different branches of the network, and thus influence the level of discrimination in society
