Germans dig up coffin of neo-Nazi after tip-off it was draped in swastika flag
Submitted by Viski on Thu, 2008-07-31 17:34Police dug up the freshly buried coffin of a neo-Nazi activist in Germany because it was draped with a swastika flag.
Publicly displaying any symbols of Hitler’s regime is strictly prohibited in Germany – apparently even in the afterlife.
Officials heard that seconds before the coffin bearing Friedhelm Busse was lowered into consecrated ground at Passau on Saturday, a neo-Nazi fan wreathed his coffin in a WW2 ‘battle flag’ which has a huge swastika in its centre.

Radovan Karadzic is one of the world's most wanted men
Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic, one of the world's most wanted men, has been arrested in Serbia after more than a decade on the run.
The Bosnian Serb wartime political leader disappeared in 1996.
He has been indicted by the UN tribunal for war crimes and genocide over the 1995 massacre at Srebrenica.
The appointment of a new, pro-European government in Belgrade last month appears to have cleared the way for his arrest, says a BBC correspondent.

WHAT HAPPENED TO US? by Dan Perjovschi | exhibit

Recently I was lucky to see Dan Perjovschi's exhibition at the Moma in New York City.
I was quite impressed to see that a Romanian artist who does very direct political commentary about capitalism had his own presonal exhibit in one of the - or should I say THE - biggest, most famous museum of modern art in the world.
I was not expecting to see his art when I decided to go to the museum and it was quite a nice surprise. He drew a series of 30 very large drawings on a huge wall of the museum that could be seen from many points in the museum. So, no matter where you were in the museum you could always see his drawings looking back at you and it made the whole experience of being there completely different and it made you question yourself and where you were in the world: New York City - one of the richest cities in the world.
