Two 3 hour sesions in morning and afternoon. Number of students is about 20 people in one group.

GENDER - refers to socially constucted roles, behaviours, activities that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.

SEX - refers to the biological and physiological characteristics that define men from women.

Musculine and feminine are gender categories, while male and female are sex categories.

*Exercise:defining sex of two candidates,and separate them from gender caracteristics.

There Are Three Fundamental Principles Of Direct Action:

1. Win concrete improvements in people's lives.
2. Make people aware of their own power (by winning victories).
3. Alter the relations of power between people, the government, and other institutions by building strong permanent local, state and national organizations.

The great social movements of the past centuries from labour to environment seem to be exhausted. Simple recipes have lost all credibility, of course. The way back to familiar models is obstructed, and the complex cohesion of an ever more closely networking global economy and of ever more differentiated living conditions seem to be immune against any form of criticism.
